If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, this woman sure knows all about that. Bobbie Oskarson of Longmont, Colorado, went walking in the Crater of Diamonds State Park and found it really lived up to its name. During her visit, Oskarson found an 8.52 karat diamond. Reportedly, this is the fifth-largest diamond ever discovered in the state park.

Oskarson is calling her discovery, “Esperanza Diamond.” Those of us who know a little Spanish understand it’s a bit of a play on the Hope Diamond. She told reporters that as of now, she’s going to keep the diamond in her possession. No estimated worth of the diamond has been released to the press.

Crater of Diamonds State Park is, apparently, the only site in the world that produces diamonds that is also open to the public. If you visit, there are 37 acres of land for you to explore. Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be as lucky as Oskarson.
