Brittany Maynard, the advocate of the Death With Dignity Law in Oregon, has died at the age of 29.

Maynard, who had brain cancer, died peacefully in the arms of her love ones. Maynard has been on the forefront of the controversial Death With Dignity law. Earlier this year, Maynard had said she might use the lethal drugs on November 1st, just a couple of weeks short of her 30th birthday. Last week, she said she might delay the day. But she went ahead with her original plan. She died via the lethal drugs available under Oregon’s Death With Dignity Law last Saturday.

The Death with Dignity law has been a hot debate all over the United States. Do you want to end your life because you have a terminal disease? Is it cowardice? I don’t think so since no one wants to do through any terminal diseases. We don’t know the pain that person is going through.

It is indeed our basic human right to do what we want in our lives. No one should tell us what to do in our lives.

May she Rest in Peace always.
