Two People Were Struck And Killed By Long Island Rail Road Train

Two people were struck and killed on the tracks of the Long Island Rail Road trains in Queens. The trains are back on schedule this Thursday morning, July 9, 2015.

The victims were a man and woman, both 29-years-old. They were found under the train about 200 feet east of the station, and were pronounced dead at the scene.

No criminality is alleged in the deaths, but they are still under investigation.

Hundreds of other passengers were on the train at the time, but no passengers on the train that struck the two were injured.
