The Washington Nationals are back in the postseason.

The Nationals clinched the National League East with a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Braves last night. This marks the first time since 2012 that the Nationals have won the National League East. After a disappointing 2013 campaign, the Nationals are going back to the postseason, looking to make amends.

The Nationals lead the East for the last 58 days and just completely left the Braves in the dust. They had a 12 1/2 games lead on the Braves and never looked back. The Nationals will play their first playoff game since the infamous game five debacle against the St. Louis Cardinals against the winner of the Wild Card round which is occupied by the San Francisco Giants and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Good luck to the Nationals this postseason.
