LeBron James will re-sign the same deal as last summer with the Cleveland Cavaliers! This will be on a one-year maximum contract with a player option for a second year.
This deal will allow him to make between $70 and $89 million this year only because of the NBA’s new TV deal.
If LeBron signs another one-year deal next summer and waits until 2017 for the long-term max, he can make an extra $110 million.
The Cavs have spent numerous amounts of money to keep their 2014-2015 team together. For this reason, they cannot afford to offer LeBron any less than what he deserves, especially now that he has the power to leave at any time.
