Apple will reportedly unveil their new generation of iPhones and iPads on September 9th. Leaked images of the new iPhone show that it looks similar to the current iPhone 6, but has a much different interior design and has a new “touch force” screen technology.
It is reported that Apple is planning an event during the week of September 7th, and the 9th will likely be the day of the annual event, since last year’s event was held on September 9th.
It’s also reported that the handset will be 7.1mm thick, which is slightly thicker than the current 6.9mm model. Buyers will have the option of choosing different colors like aluminum and rose gold, which are the colors of the Apple Watch.
There is also a new 12 megapixel camera, which is an upgrade from the 8 megapixel camera. The Force Touch technology which was first used with the latest Macbook and Apple Watch, is a new technology that senses force in addition to sensing touch.
