Well it’s about time, it’s been seen and spoken about throughout sci-fi flicks for years. Finally a car that could hover and slick it’s way through the air avoiding traffic.
Recently a Slovakian firm claims it’s finally cracked the code to making it happen. The AeroMobil can fly 430 miles on a tank of petrol, and get this with it’s wings down, it could fit into a normal parking space like a regular vehicle.
AeroMobil is a ‘flying car’ that perfectly combines the use of automobiles and planes, and opens doors to real door-to-door travel, the firm says. When in its car mode, it can fit into a regular parking space, and not to mention, it also takes normal fuel pumped at every service station. This latest version is the third generation of the craft.
AeroMobil says their third prototype is ready to be shown to the world this October 29th at the Pioneers Festival in Austria. However, the design still needs some work, as I’d assume. The wings fold into the back seat behind the driver when in car mode.
