Since eldest son Josh Duggar admitted to sexually molesting five, underage girls years ago, the Duggar family has been in pot after pot of hot water. Recently, In Touch magazine reported that on May 27, the Washington County Department of Human Services was called to investigate the Duggar home, but the family would not let them in. The DHS then called 911, telling the police that the Duggar family refused to let them in to see the child they had concerns about.
Sources don’t exactly know what triggered the need for investigation. DHS records are private. But apparently, the Duggars are not strangers to refusing the authorities. Nine years ago, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar did not bring his then-18-year-old son, Josh Duggar, in for police questioning. The following year, Josh Duggar tried to sue the DHS, but there are no public details of that lawsuit.
TLC remains silent on this issue, and the fate of Duggar reality series, 19 Kids and Counting, still hangs in the balance.
