A new study has found that Middle-income Americans are now spending about $245,000 raising a child until adulthood.

These costs include education, food, housing, and childcare which rose 1.8 percent from 2013, according to the Agriculture Department’s Expenditures on Children and Families report.

Those numbers are insane, but it gets worse. Families in the urban Northeast will spend $282,480, which is more costly than families raising a child in the urban South and other parts of the US.

Get this, not included in the study was college tuition. So you very well could be paying well over $300,000 to raise your child until the age of 18.

Something’s got to give. After reading this, I am certainly in no rush to have child….
