Porsha Williams from The Real House Wives of Atlanta has decided to speak out and finally tell her side of the story. We’ve heard Kenya’s version who said she was “just having a little fun”,  and we’ve heard Nene’s opinion on the disturbing event that took place. If you’ve been living under a rock, I’ll fill you in. Porsha attacked Kenya by pulling her hair and dragging her across the floor. This was after Kenya kept putting her props she brought onto the set, in Porsha’s face.

On her first interview, since the Reunion Show, Porsha explained how emotional the taping was. She described how Kenya provoked her on the show and said she felt threatened by her scepter and called it a weapon. “I saw the hate. I saw the anger. I saw all of that in Kenya’s eyes at that moment, and I felt threatened,” she said.

Despite the hostility of that night some good also came from it. She talked about the sisterhood she felt with the rest of the cast members, even thought there was chaos at that time.  “I don’t care where this show goes for me, I’ll never forget those women for being there for me.”

Wiliams also told another source that she turned herself in to the police after Kenya filed charges against her. She was charged with battery and released with a $2,000 bond that she paid off.

I certainly think Porsha was provoked and Kenya should have never been allowed to have any “props” on the show. You never know how a person is going to react to a bullhorn or a scepter in their face, especially when they’re angry or emotional. There should be boundaries set for the next Reunion show so that nothing like the Porsha and Kenya incident happens again.
