Samsung is making big moves with creating the Galaxy S7, and now a possible partnership with music streaming service TIDAL. The service has been active for a mere 16 months, and has exclusives from the biggest artists in the music industry.
Samsung also worked closely with TIDAL’s co-owner, Queen RiRi. The phone company brought in $28 million to promote her eighth studio album ANTI. The album also went platinum.
Apple hasn’t reached out to TIDAL whatsoever, but Samsung sees the success and wants to jump on that bandwagon before its competition.
